You’ll be paired with a senior lab member/student to work on projects that facilitate our atom/molecular scanning! We support a wide range of projects including analysis, hardware design, software, etc., although tend to lean heavy into experimental development, surface chemistry, physical chemistry, and physics. Our available projects for summer students is always changing as new priorities arise, so don’t be shy to as for our current list.

Apply Before:

  • March 31st of the current calendar year.

To apply:

Email Dr. Huff and briefly detail a little about yourself, your research interests, and what interests you about working in the Huff group (< 1 page). Please also attach unofficial transcripts. Candidates who pass this initial screening will be contacted to talk with Prof. Huff.

Dr. Huff generally supports several Queen’s 4th year thesis students per academic year.
